I’ve been suffering from a horrid cold this weekend, and spent Saturday on the couch blowing my nose and watching TED talks. I stumbled across the above talk, which I found particularly interesting, as, a 20-something myself, I have increasingly come to realise that now is the time to figure things out, to take a chance, to start that project that’s been in the back of my mind for years, to understand what I want. Being in your 20s doesn’t mean that somehow life happens to you, whilst you sit back and wait for it. I’m not sure that my 20s will be the best years of my life, but I’m pretty sure that they’ll be some of the most challenging. All I can hope to do, then, is rise to the challenge: try things out, keep pushing and trust that I know what I want and can achieve it. ย – Miranda
