As an English teacher, I love a good Shakespeare adaptation. Not only does it give you an excuse to put your feet up for a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon, but it also gives you an opportunity to prove to your students that Shakespeare doesn’t have to be a yawn fest. As such, I’m very excited about the upcoming new film of my favourite of Shakespeare’s plays, Much Ado About Nothing. Filmed in just 12 days at Buffy creator Joss Whedon’s LA mansion, it looks cool, classy and thoroughly modern, while still sticking to the original language. This definitely calls for a class trip to the cinema! – Rachel
