My Dad came to visit over Easter, and kept up his tradition of leaving fabulous gifts in his wake, by supplying me with a new iPad. I am absolutely thrilled with it, and one of the things I’m enjoying most is the subscriptions to The New Yorker, The New York Times and Vanity Fair. With such little reading time at the moment, I appreciate a quick dip into an interesting article as a pre bed time read. Do any iPad users suggest any other magazine subscriptions as particular favourites? – Miranda
My current favourites are antipodean ones as I live in the southern hemisphere: Australian magazine Peppermint and NZ magazine Good. Both are lifestyle magazines, a little organic, similar to the British one The Simple Things. They’re not American though!
Oh these sound great! Thank you!
Roman Holiday is back in cinemas this summer, Miranda. Though I’m sure you’ll have seen it before – but more fun on a big screen.
Oh yay! I’d love to see Roman Holiday on the big screen!! It’s my favourite AH film. Thanks for letting me know, Mary 🙂
Vanity Fair is my favorite, also enjoy Architectural Digest, Town and Country and the Wall Street Journal, which has great book reviews.
Oh yes, the Wall Street Journal would be super. Thank you for the recommendations.
I love Town and Country on mine, and Cook’s Illustrated is brilliant because as well as reading articles, you can prop your iPad up and have the recipe in front of you as you cook!
Oooh, must check out Cook’s Illustrated! Sounds fab! Thank you.
The New Yorker is my favorite, but also do check out Matchbook Magazine: http://www.matchbookmag.com
Thank so much! Will check it out. P.S. Will reply to your email soon – so excited to meet!
